Estimator - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

We are partnered with a leading roofing contractor based near Preston. Our client operates in the commercial, public and industrial sector across the North West. They offer a range of cladding, roofing and complementary services, including panel system installation, fascia and soffit work, installation of roof-lights. With a great team culture that thrives on collaboration and success they have the opportunity to add an experienced Estimator to their commercial division with a salary circa £40,000.

Estimator Position Benefits

• Competitive Salary (D.O.E) £35,000 - £45,000
• Annual bonus scheme (up to 10% of salary)

Estimator Position Overview

• Estimator based near Preston, North West
• Manage the incoming tenders into the business
• Complete site surveys and inspections to complete tender packages
• Price both the company generated enquiries as well as incoming tenders
• Prioritise with the Sales team
• Work to agreed objectives as set out in the company business / sales plan
• Submit tender submissions at agreed margins with the timescales set out within the tender documents
• Produce a weekly report to include value, %, market, material of submissions including ongoing conversion rates to the MD
• Work to agreed sales objectives

Estimator Position Requirements

• Roof estimating experience is essential
• Experience working with sub-contractors
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator
• Team player and ambitious
• Full driving licence
• Strong IT Skills
