Estimator - Dry Lining / Fire Protection

£50,000 to £60,000 + package

Are you from asubcontract background with a good understanding of dry lining?

TS Recruitment are actively working with a specialist dry lining and fire protection company based near Manchester who are looking to recruit an Estimator to join the business.

Benefits

-   Basic salary circa £50-60,000 per annum

-   Car allowance, and expenses

-   23 days holiday plus bank holidays

-   Pension after qualifying period 3% employer contribution

Job Role & Responsibilities:

-   Work closely with Directors to price and submit enquiries.

-   Carry out Estimates and submit tenders for commercialprojects such as hospitals and schools

-   Attend client meetings to build relationships.

-   Complete tenders on projects up to the value of £2 million.

-   Liaise with clients regarding variations and value engineering to help secure work.

-   Attend prestart meetings and handover over to the operational team.

Company Details

-   Specialist dry lining and fire protection company

-   Project values from £10k to £2 million

-   Family business and have long-term working relationships with several main contractors.

-   Work on commercial projects such as healthcare and education schemes.

Knowledge/Experience:

-   Commercial experience working as an Estimator.

-   Experience working on projects circa £2 million.

-   Construction qualification preferred but not essential.

-   Good IT skills and commercially aware.

-   Full UK driving license
