Your new companyHays has been retained by a Top Tier Contractor to assist in their recruitment of an Estimator. Based on the outskirts of Belfast, this leading contractor has been involved in landmark projects across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, they now require an Estimator to join the Pre-Construction Team.Your new roleYou will work within an integral part of the business, reporting directly to the Estimating Manager. You will be estimating a range of projects worth up to £50m. Additionally, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects including; preparation and presentation of reports to Senior Management and Clients, as well as the building and management of client expectations. This is an office-based role with occasional UK travel.What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of tendering and winning build projects and a strong understanding of construction processes including project logistics. You will have proven experience of delivering all aspects of your role efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
