Job Title: Estimator - Plumbing & Heating

Location: Wigan office Remuneration: £30,000 - £45,000Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Estimator - Plumbing & Heating will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a range of plumbing services primarily into the new build market sector
• Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison
• Liaise with other Estimators, Quality Manager, Directors and Contracts Managers with pricing of tenders and all associated tender submission work
• Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
• Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
• Stay updated on industry trends & pricing enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency
• Project values range from £100,000 up to £3,000,000

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Plumbing & Heating with:

• Must have estimating experience within the HVAC / plumbing & heating market sector
• Must have a technical understanding of plumbing and heating systems
• Ideally will be familiar with new build contracts
• IT literate (Microsoft Office) and strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Full UK driving license
• Strong organisation and time management skills
