Event Operations Manager. Working for a well established and respected Destination Management company you will develop, contract, project manage and execute events within the UK and Ireland for your European clients. If you are passionate about crafting unforgettable events, that run smoothly, and have experience of working with B2B, handling corporate clients in this field, this is your ideal role. If you can speak any European languages this is advantageous, and Fluency in English is a must. If for you the 'devil is in the detail' and you want to focus on the project and event this is for you. With a starting salary of circa £30k - £35k pa dependent on experience, plus additional benefits and being part of a great DMC you can forge a long term career, this is a great move for you if you have two years within a similar role. Ideally office based for probation, then hybrid, there is scope for more flexibility dependent on your experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years experience in Event Planning. Ideally you will have experience in the corporate events sector, from an event management company or DMC. You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for event planning, and a creative thinker who can develop innovative and engaging program concepts. You will have strong negotiation and communication skills to build positive relationships with vendors and clients. You will have experience in project management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. In addition to English, if you are able to converse in: Spanish, Portuguese or French that would be an additional bonus.
