Northampton, hybrid

£30,000 - £35,000 + performance bonus

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Macildowie are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Events & Hospitality Sales Manager to join a well-known hospitality venue in Northampton. If you have a passion for sales, events, and hospitality, and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role:

As the Events & Hospitality Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing client relationships to maximize revenue from events and hospitality bookings. This is an exciting, fast-paced role where you will be working closely with a dynamic team to deliver a high standard of service and ensure the success of every event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Generate new sales leads and create opportunities to drive business in events and hospitality services.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the sales team to meet individual and departmental targets.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, delivering exceptional service and understanding their needs to ensure long-term success.
  • Event Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for all event inquiries, managing bookings and ensuring smooth execution of events.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales for food, beverage, room hire, and hospitality services, ensuring targets are met.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service across all touch points (in-person, email, phone).
  • Operational Communication: Ensure seamless communication with operational teams to fulfill client requests and event requirements.
  • Event Support: Support key events such as Golf Days, concerts, and matchdays, providing guest management and hospitality services.

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience in sales, events, and hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Happy to work evenings and weekends when required (events etc)
