My client, a leading professional membership body based in Central London with over 19,000 members of all ages, stages or disciplines across the UK, is currently recruiting for an Events Manager.

The Role of Events Manager

Our team is passionate about supporting the member community, and we're looking for a talented event organiser to join us.

You'll be responsible for planning a variety of impactful events, including large-scale conferences, member engagement activities, awards celebrations, political summits, and essential training for new professionals.

You’ll be our go-to events expert, providing the organisation with expertise and advice on online and in-person events.

You will organise, run, and evaluate a portfolio of successful events.

This exciting and varied position is suited to an event professional with experience in programming, marketing, operations, event logistics and evaluation who is looking to add value in a friendly, supportive environment.

Essential Skills

Experience of managingthe delivery and marketing of large events including co-ordination of external suppliers, liaison with senior staff and volunteers.

Experience of setting up and managing online eventson Zoom Webinar, Zoom Meetings and MS Teams

Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines

Proven project management experience

Experience of managing budgets

Experience ofusing website CMS, email marketing and CRM systems - desirable
