About the Job

Are you an exceptional Executive Assistant with a passion for supporting senior leaders in driving organisational success? A leading charity in Southend-on-Sea is looking for a proactive and people-focused Executive Assistant to provide vital administrative support to their CEO and the wider Executive team. This dynamic role involves working closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and senior leaders across the organisation, ensuring smooth operations by managing high-level meetings, coordinating governance processes, and supporting HR-related administration.

Benefits:

  • £34,909 and rising to £39,261

  • Hours of work 37hrs - 9am -5pm

Main Duties:

  • Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and Executive team.
  • Organise and coordinate Board and sub-committee meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Ensure governance obligations are met by supporting governance processes.
  • Manage and prioritise the CEO’s schedule, including organising meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Support the CEO on key projects, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are maintained.
  • Assist in the coordination of HR-related administration tasks.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Liaise with senior leaders across the organisation to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for Board meetings.
  • Assist in managing correspondence and communication for the Executive team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, experience supporting senior executives, and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and effectively. This role offers a competitive salary, starting at £34,909 and rising to £39,261, with plenty of opportunities for growth and development.
