Role Overview:As the Executive Chef, you'll helm a small but dynamic kitchen, delivering a menu reminiscent of a classic UK pub or hotel. The menu features dishes like burgers, pasta, steaks, shepherd's pie, and both hot and cold breakfasts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and present diverse, high-quality dishes, emphasizing fresh, hearty meals.

- Breakfast Service: Craft traditional breakfast offerings, including hot plates and continental selections.

- Operational Management: Oversee kitchen operations during split shifts, ensuring seamless service.

- Team Collaboration: Engage in all kitchen activities, embodying a hands-on approach and fostering a team-oriented environment.

- Standards Compliance: Uphold stringent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience: Proven background as an Executive or Head Chef in similar settings, such as pubs, hotels, or casual dining establishments.

- Culinary Passion: Enthusiasm for creating various dishes, from comfort classics to full breakfasts.

- Organizational Skills: Effectively manage split shifts and maintain operational efficiency.

- Team Spirit: A proactive, collaborative attitude, ready to contribute across all kitchen functions.

- Visa Eligibility: Ability to qualify for an Australian Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 or 462).
