Executive Chef - Compass Group UK : Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a Executive Chef to work with us in Edinburgh.

Location: Edinburgh

Rate of pay: £39,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities

• Excellent technical cooking skills, knowledge of culinary ingredients and practices.
• Develop innovative menus and culinary concepts that cater to our target customer base.
• Readiness to thrive under pressure.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate the team.
• Train and mentor, the kitchen team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Implement sand maintain food safety, health and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
• Oversee budgeting for the kitchen, including food costs, supplies and labour.
• Adapt to changing industry and trends and customer preferences, keeping our offerings fresh and relevant.
• Maintain a professional and supportive attitude.
