Export Operator - Right Now Recruitment : Job Details

Right Now Group are looking for an experienced Export Operator to work with our busy client based in Heathrow. Responsibilities of an Export Operator:

• Providing a full start to finish documentation of exports
• Monitoring and managing the multiple shared mailboxes
• Discussions with airlines and handling agents to arrange all bookings of shipments
• Completing the costing and invoicing of operational finance
• Providing pre-alerts to the customers and network
• Ensuring all documents have been completed and prepared for secure cargo and handover to transport
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC regarding customs entries

Skills of an Export Operator:

• At least some experience within air export operations.
• Basic knowledge of the air industry and customer requirements within freight forwarding is required for this role.
• The ability to make good decisions best inline to meet company standards
• Customs knowledge is required.
• Clear proven customer service skills.
• The ability to be flexible and adaptive.
• You will need to be able to work well under pressure.

Additional Information for Export Operator:

Location: Feltham Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
