EXPORT ROAD FREIGHT CLERK - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

My clients a niche shipping forwarder , seeking a road freight shipping coordinator to join their busy team local to Colnbrook

Duties would include:

• Handling road freight operations
• Import and exports domestic European
• Sending pre-advice
• Monitoring shipments start-finish
• Transport planning routes, scheduling delivery times and coordinating with drivers
• Liaising with hauliers to provided quotations for special collections/ deliveries
• Updating customers
• Invoicing
• General admin/ data entry

Skills required:

• Experience handling road freight
• Knowledge of European and domestic groupage
• Ability to work well under pressure
• PC literate
• Good customer service skills
• Good Geographical knowledge
• in depth knowledge of EU Customs procedures
• Commercially focused considering end to end costs

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
