Job Description :

As Extrusion Line Operator, you will specialise in operating window profile extrusion lines. At Anglian we make the windows starting in our Extrusion Manufacturing Plant and due to expansion and investment in the plant we require additional staff to achieve this.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, who can remain motivated working alone and have the ability to use their own initiative during the working day to satisfy production requirements. This candidate will have excellent attention to detail & accuracy, whilst being flexible in their approach to work and tasks

The Responsibilities

  • Operate  window profile extrusion lines
  • Regular product quality checks and the packing of profiles
  • Keep necessary paperwork up to date and filled in accurately  
  • Work to and complete daily Production plans
  • Work to all Health & Safety requirements

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English in grade C or above (Grade 4 or above, or equivalent)
  • Good numeracy and literacy
  • Must follow Manual Handling company training
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task & prioritise workload
  • Good communication skills

Shift pattern

  • Rotating Shifts -1 week days, 1 week nights
  • Days Monday to Thursday – 7am to 7pm
  • Nights Monday to Wednesday 7pm to 7am, Thursday 7pm to 3am
