Sanza Teaching Agency is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a delightful primary school in Sutton, South London. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to fostering the development and well-being of young learners.
Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Support children's learning and development through one-on-one and small group activities.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within the Early Years age range.
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education would be advantageous but not essential.
