Fabric Engineer / Maintenance TechnicianTelfordcirca £27000 per year8am - 5pmMonday to FridayWe are currently looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer / Maintenance Technician to carry out basic maintenance across a large facility in Telford.Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of fabric (structural) and limited engineering assets.
• Ensure all tasks are performed safely, timely, and in compliance with Equans' standards and contractual obligations.
• Carry out Legionella control and monitoring activities.
• Inspect and repair floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, doors (including fire doors), windows, and associated furniture.
• Inspect, repair, and replace luminaries and clear drainage/gully systems.
• Inspect and repair both free-standing and fitted furniture.

Decorative and General Maintenance:

• Perform painting, re-decorating, and hanging of pictures, signs, and notices.
• Assist engineering staff with various duties as needed.

Reactive and Proactive Maintenance:

• Complete reactive maintenance tasks across sites, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure necessary consumables are stocked for maintenance tasks, providing parts lists and estimated times for any required remedial work.

This role requires a proactive, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented individual with strong maintenance and repair skills, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
