AMS is the world's leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Facilities Coordinator for a 6- month contract based in Manchester.

The Role:

Arup is currently seeking a Facilities Coordinator to provide a safe and comfortable environment for members of the workplaces within the geography and offer support and guidance to the wider Facilities team.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as Contractor Management, Project Management of small works/projects, monthly reporting, and updating HSE records, while also expanding your skills, taking on new challenges, and working closely with a diverse team to build strong relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractor relationships and oversee contractor performance.
  • Lead project management for small works and facility-related projects.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports, ensuring accurate updates on HSE records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of facilities management processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of site plant, equipment, and office services, with strong communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail in reports and processes.
  • IWFM Level 3 Award or working towards it or be willing to work towards it.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and experience in Health & Safety practices (e.g., Risk Assessments, COSHH).
  • Knowledge of CAFM Systems and E-Permits systems, with a proactive approach to learning new tools.
