Facilities Manager - £43,912 per annum - London, W10

The Role

Are you a skilled Facilities Manager with a strong background in health & safety and compliance? Do you have experience managing a diverse property portfolio? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of Westway Trust’s properties, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. You will manage both in-house teams and subcontractors to deliver effective and efficient facilities management, focusing on proactive and responsive maintenance.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and evening work as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including hard and soft services.
  • Oversee a small maintenance team and subcontractors.
  • Ensure statutory compliance through regular inspections and audits.
  • Prepare and manage service charge budgets.
  • Develop systems for managing contractors and permit-to-work systems.
  • Liaise with the Property Management Team to coordinate refurbishment projects.
  • Be the first point of contact for keyholders and ensure a high standard of customer service.

The Person

  • Facilities Management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing facilities across a varied property portfolio.
  • Expertise in health & safety, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • IT proficiency, including MS Office.
  • A commitment to diversity and equality, with a strong understanding of community needs.
