The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our work environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity for all employees. This position requires strong leadership skills, a focus on sustainability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, overseeing repairs and improvements with a degree of hands-on work that will be required and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Facilities Manager will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide support, while leading a team of maintenance staff and vendors. Excellent communication and organizational skills are critical to successfully produce and manage budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines. If you are a results-oriented professional with a passion for creating optimal work environments, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities* Company compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.* Maintenance Services: Regular upkeep of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural maintenance* Security Services: Implementation of security measures, including surveillance, access control, and on-site security personnel* Energy Management: Optimizing energy use to reduce costs and environmental impact.* Rail: Track infrastructure, track maintenance, Rail Fuelling & Controlled Emissions Toilet (CET) maintenance* Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal operation of building systems and in some instances have a hands-on approach in maintaining compliance monitor and control facility budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.* Management: Coordinate with vendors for outsourced services. Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfil their facility requirements.
