Facilities Operative - GXO Logistics : Job Details

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Facilities Operative to join our team at Northampton, NN4 5EL providing support to the site!

This is full-time, permanentposition, working on a 4 on, 4 off shift between the hours of07:00 – 19:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Supporting the facilities manager with completing statutory basic maintenance checks  (e.g. emergency lighting checks, sprinkler system testing around the site
• Maintain/record all data for compliance with facilities matters for internal/external auditing
• Be able to work within a controlled and confidential manner
• Liaise with external contractors as required for site regular maintenance
• Maintain all Health and Safety in the workplace

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Strong communication skills, along with good listening skills
• Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under own initiative
• IT literate using Word and Excel
