Role OverviewAs a Social Work Consultant within the Families First Team, you will work with children, young people, and their families to deliver tailored, effective interventions. You'll provide expert guidance, manage complex cases, and support families in achieving sustainable positive outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesCase Management: Lead on complex cases, providing expert assessment and intervention plans.Family Support: Work closely with families to identify needs and provide solutions that promote safety, stability, and well-being.Collaboration: Partner with multi-disciplinary teams, schools, and external agencies to deliver holistic support.Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and protection of children by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.Mentoring: Support and mentor less experienced staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and learning.

Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.Proven experience in children and families' social work, particularly in managing complex cases.Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures.Desirable:
