• Meet and assist walk-in clients, take messages and make file notes
• Support fee earners with day-to-day work
• Open and close client files
• Liaise with clients.
• Checking legal documentation.
• Handle outgoing post and emails
• Keep internal and client files up to date
• Type documents and draft standard letters/forms for approval
• Manage document requests
• Input client details into practice/case management systems
• Perform administrative tasks like photocopying and file archiving
• Maintain a tidy, organized office environment
• Provide secretarial and telephone support as needed

Attributes Required

• Secretarial experience in a law firm is desirable
• Strong relationship building skills
• Fast, accurate typing with good grammar and spelling
• Able to competently use computer systems
• Good attention to detail
• High-level organisation and administration skills
