Role: Family Solicitor

Location: Romford

Hours: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

An opportunity has arisen to work for a tech-driven, high compliance, fast-paced, growing newly established Legal Practice based in Romford. They are looking to expand their team due to growth and expansion within the Family department and require a 2 years + PQE Solicitor to come in and eventually progress to Head of Department!

Duties…

• Providing legal advice on family-related issues such as divorce, child custody, and property settlements.
• Preparing legal documents like prenuptial agreements, divorce petitions, and custody agreements.
• Working to reach amicable settlements between parties to avoid court proceedings.
• Advocating for clients in family court during hearings and trials.
• Facilitating mediation sessions to help resolve disputes outside of court.
• Advising on matters related to child protection and welfare.
• Handling financial disputes, including spousal support and division of assets.
• Assisting with legal processes related to adoption and surrogacy.
• Providing support and legal action for victims of domestic violence.
• Conducting research to stay updated on family law and precedents.
• Supporting Paralegals by means of training and conducting an open door policy.

Experience required…

• Qualified Solicitor
• A minimum of 3 years experience within family law
• Efficient with tech and forward-thinking
