Family Time Support Worker (Supervised Contact)

Location: KnowsleyContract: Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extensionHours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

We are currently looking for a dedicated Family Time Support Worker to join our team in Knowsley. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating supervised contact between children and their families, ensuring that these interactions are safe, supportive, and constructive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support family contact sessions for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Provide detailed observations and reports on family interactions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
• Support families in understanding and improving their relationships with their children.
• Adhere to safeguarding protocols and report any concerns as appropriate.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with children and families, preferably in a social care or support role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding practices and the ability to manage challenging situations.
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting families in need.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
