  • Salary: £35,204 - £47,839 + TLR £7485

We are seeking an ambitious and aspirational Head of PE to join our vibrant school community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and physical education, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach to support the continued improvement of the department. This role offers the opportunity to lead a knowledgeable PE department that is driven by a passion for sports and the benefits of physical activity for all students.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Provide high-quality, strategic leadership and management for the PE department.
  • Articulate and implement a strategic vision for the department, ensuring the highest standards are set and met.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve the attainment and progress of all students within the PE department.
  • Formulate policies and practices that develop learning and quality first teaching to support and sustain improvements.
  • Lead and manage a highly motivated staff team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Teach outstanding PE lessons across the age range, inspiring students to achieve their maximum potential.
  • Expand the curriculum and extra-curricular offer to include a wider variety of sports and activities.
