SUMMARY
An Outstanding Secondary School in Brentwood Essex are seeking to appoint their next Female PE Teacher to start in January or sooner, dependent on availability. This is a temp to perm role and will be paid to scale from day one. This role is open to part time applicants and ECTs are welcome to apply.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
This Outstanding State Secondary School is for girls aged 11-16 with a co-educational Sixth Form is located in Brentwood and is a successful, happy school which treasures its historic buildings and traditions, but which combines this with recent investment that has enabled them to continue providing an excellent educational environment to both staff and students. It’s also a high-achieving, well-regarded and oversubscribed secondary school where students achieved exceptionally well with 90% of students securing a GCSE grade of 4 or above in both English and Maths and 87% achieving 5 or more GCSE’s at grade 4 or above. ABOUT THE PE DEPARTMENT/CURRICULUM
The School’s Physical Education curriculum is engaging, with a broad range of sports that are designed to excite and motivate the students. The team provide a stimulating environment, hoping to inspire the students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, health and fitness beyond their Physical Education within school hours.
Sports covered: Netball, Gymnastics, Cross Country, Hockey. Football, Rugby, Handball, Cricket, Basketball, Athletics (Track and Field), Rounders and Outdoor Adventurous Activities
