Field Engineer - ASSA ABLOY : Job Details

This position is based in the Leeds region. Applicable locations for this role would be Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Yorkshire or Nottingham.

What would you do as our Field Engineer:

As our Field Engineer, you would be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of equipment in the field.

You would also be responsible for:

• Installing, commissioning, and performing technical sign-offs for Access Control, Wireless Fire Alarms, and CCTV systems, including walk tests.
• Attending and completing installation visits, service call-outs, troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventative checks.
• Managing van stock, ordering replacement stock with the Stores Team or Service Supervisor, and maintaining tools and test equipment.
• Liaising with other trades on-site to ensure efficient installation completion while adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Maintaining exemplary standards to build strong customer rapport and ensure high-quality service.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong construction industry knowledge, with an understanding of electrical equipment, networking, and routing.
• Strong experience in a similar role.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with PC hardware.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and a valid CSCS Card is mandatory. ECS and IPAF is an advantage.
• Experience engaging with customers in pressured environments is beneficial.
