Job Description: Field Liaison SupervisorResponsible To: Service Manager / Area MangerShort Description: Responsible for supporting the Service Manager/Area Manager to ensure theprovision of quality care to services users in accordance care plans and managementdirection and to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, with aspecific focus on effective management of staff and service users.Working Pattern: 40 hours per week - flexible shift patternSummary of benefits: Competitive salary28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)Company pension schemeFull expensed company mobile phone for business useCompany laptopMileage paid for business useCar business insurance paidFree car parkingThe Care Supervisor will be specifically responsible for: Managing Care Workers and ensuring the delivery of quality service and ensuring service usersatisfaction. Ensuring the delivery of services as agreed in the service user support plans Ensuring effective management of the team and resolving any issues promptly. Ensuring that staff adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Monitoring the effectiveness of the care workers by conducting various spot checks, supervisions andgroup meetings in accordance to company policies and procedures Ensuring that good relationships are maintained between staff and service users, by acting as the liaisonbetween care staff, office staff and service users. Completing medication audits, ordering medication and recording any changes to service usermedication as required for service users. Ensuring that staff rotas for the service are updated and available, and when necessary ensure thatchanges are made. Ensuring that care workers wear appropriate uniform, identification badges and use personalprotective equipment as per guidelines. Attending and participating in service users care and support needs when required. Ensuring that audit spot checks are completed where medication is being administered. Ensuring that medication and observations forms are collected and submitted to the office timeouslywhere necessary. Ensuring that accurate records are maintained and that there are through hand overs betweenincoming and outgoing staff. Ensuring that all incidents and accidents are recorded timeously and accurately. Ensuring that the Service Manager/Area Manager are notified immediately of any incidents and wherenecessary raise any safeguarding incidents. Investigating and resolving any non-critical incidents timeously.JD - Field Liaison SupervisorJune 2020 Conducting assessment of packages for new service users, quality assessments and re-assessments asrequired timeously. Conducting quality assurance checks through personal visits to service users, attending assessmentsand reviews. Representing the company in meetings with local authorities and commissions as and when required. Ensuring that there is a copy of the weekly schedule available prior to the start of the week. Collecting and collating data from the care workers in order to submit quarterly KPI information. Ensuring that regular team meetings are held with staff to discuss any job related issues, share companyinformation and encourage knowledge sharing between staffGeneric Duties: In addition to specific responsibilities, the role will also be responsible for ensuring: the maintenance of confidentiality of all information unless otherwise permitted by management full compliance with company’s vision, values, policies and procedures compliance with legislation and GSCC Code of Conduct as reflected in company procedures undergo training and professional development as directed by the company work in a manner that promotes team work and a collegial environment active and positive promotion of the company’s image and brand other duties that may be assigned by managementQualifications and experience: The following qualification, skills and experience are required for this role: QCF Level 2+ preferred Experience working in the care environment, preferably in domiciliary care Experience in supervising and managing staff Excellent knowledge of care standards in domiciliary care Good knowledge of health and safety Excellent time management and ability to prioritise Strong administrative and organisational skills Customer Care focussed Promotion of equal opportunities for service users & staff Administrative & organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s licence and use of own car Ability to work flexibly as required i.e. anytime between 6am and 10pm any day of the week
