Field Sales Account Representative- Southern Areas

Our client has a wide client base of existing customers who they sell their products to and maintain a regular 4-6 week visit cycle to change products and provide with new stock for the next promotions.

A Field Sales Account Representative you will be assigned to a particular geographical area where customers will be clustered. You will receive a company van, mobile and fuel card to fulfil your duties.

As you will be required to return goods and give new stock to the businesses you must be capable of occasional heavy lifting and physically fit to load a van.

You may required to stay overnight occasionally in accommodation paid for by the business depending what are you travel to.

Completing at least 10 visits per day your responsibilities include…

  • Develop and sustain valuable, long-term trading relationships.
  • Professionally represent and uphold the company’s values.
  • Achieve and surpass budget sales and efficiency targets
  • Manage distribution, effective merchandising, and product placement
  • Explore and implement new channels of opportunity and distribution
  • Optimise time and resources to maximise productivity.
  • Maintain excellent communication, administration, and paperwork for all sales and promotional activities.
  • Manage appointments and timekeeping according to the agreed daily schedule.

To be successful as a Field Sales Account Manager you should…

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Clear communicator with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Driven, competitive, and challenge-oriented.
  • Strong commercial awareness and integrity.
  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of working individually and within a team.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • IT literate with strong analytical skills, especially in Microsoft Office.

Salary

  • £25,000 – £27,000 + quarterly bonus scheme

Working hours

  • 8am onwards Monday to Friday with some flexibility as long as targets are met.
