My client is seeking a Field Sales Executive to expand new business by promoting the service. This service will be marketed to independent retail businesses within specific geographical areas.

The service being offered is a competitively priced daily collection service. With over 5,000 members already participating, the service helps retailers manage their daily operations effectively. Customers can schedule as many collections as needed, from multiple times a week to just once. This hassle-free service is available at a single flat rate, with no commitments and the flexibility to opt out at any time. The service can also be offered on a subscription basis as well as an upfront basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote the Service: Achieve agreed KPIs by engaging with various retailers and securing sales.
- Cultivate Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships within your sales territory, identifying additional opportunities.
- Adopt an Entrepreneurial Approach: Be proactive and innovative in your sales strategies.
- Complete Territory Calls: Ensure all scheduled calls within the territory plan are completed daily.
- Develop a High-Performance Mindset: Strive to meet all KPIs with a focused and driven attitude.
- Communicate Effectively: Share best practices with colleagues, keep your Line Manager informed, and ensure high levels of customer education and engagement.
- Resolve Issues Proactively: Address and resolve potential problems before they escalate.
- Master the Service Offering: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the service to facilitate successful sales.
- Maintain High Standards: Execute all tasks to a high standard consistently.
- Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to your Line Manager to support the client's business and retail growth strategy.
- Complete Administrative Tasks: Ensure all administrative duties are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Understand the Retail Landscape: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the retail environment to leverage competitive advantages.
To excel in this role, you ideally possess:
- Outstanding Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Relevant Sales or Retail Experience: Previous experience in a sales or retail environment, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Brand Ambassador Experience: Experience representing a brand would be advantageous.
- Strong Relationship-Building Abilities: Proven track record in developing and maintaining professional relationships.
- Remote Field Activity Experience: Demonstrated success in remote field sales and meeting sales targets and KPIs.
- Organisational and Planning Skills: Excellent at organising tasks and planning ahead.
- Sales Conversion through Education: Ability to drive sales by educating customers.
- Proven Sales Success: Evidence of achieving sales targets and goals.
