Sales Executive
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Office located in Sudbury (role is field based)
Salary: £30,000 – 35,000 + Car allowance
Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a Sales Executive on a full time, permanent basis to join their dynamic team within the UV and Water Division. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who excels in developing new business and managing client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling multi-divisional products, achieving set targets, and managing sales forecasts and pipelines.
Day to day of the role:
- Manage and develop a limited number of existing clients while focusing on acquiring new clients within both divisions.
- Achieve set budgets and profitability goals.
- Handle quotations across both divisions and report on performance against set budgets.
- Forecast and manage pipelines for future business, ensuring a steady flow of sales opportunities.
- Manage the responsible region effectively, maintaining a strong presence and understanding of the local market.
- Collaborate with the operational team to manage lead times and align customers’ expectations with delivery capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Proven ability to cold call and secure sales appointments.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and performance reporting against budgets.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and articulate product features and benefits within both business divisions.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
