Field Service Engineer (Generators)

£35,000-£40,000 + Overtime + Company Van (personal use) + Training + Company Phone and Laptop + Door-to-Door Pay

Are you a Generator Engineer looking to join a market-leading company, where you will be given door-to-door pay, and have the opportunity to boost your earnings through overtime?

Established for over 60 years, this company has recently been acquired by an engineering giant, enabling them to continue their success and develop in new ways. As a leader in the Power Generation industry, the business is ever-expanding and now they are looking to grow their team with a Generator Engineer.

In this role you will be undertaking a range of responsibilities including maintenance work, diagnostics, testing, repairs and installations on a range of diesel generators, switchgear and control systems. This field-based role is 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime at additional pay and an on-call rota that will earn you an additional £120/week when on-call. Based out of their Runcorn depot, you will be covering Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and surrounding areas.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer, with a background in the Power Generation industry and a Mechanical bias, looking for an autonomous role within a stable, growing company where you have the opportunity to boost your earnings through overtime and develop your skillset with training.

The Role:

• Maintenance, Repairs, Testing and Installation on Generators and all associated equipment.
• Regional travel to Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Surrounding areas.
• Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm and overtime at additional pay.

The Person:

• Generator Engineer or similar.
• Mechanically biased.
• Based in or near Manchester, happy to travel.
