Our client, a well-established and family-run business with over 20 years of experience in the handling solutions industry, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their team. The company prides itself on providing top-quality service and equipment, including manual and electric pallet trucks, stackers, and pickers. This role will be covering the south of the region such as Bristol, Gloucester
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair designated equipment on-site.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and field modifications.
- Manage and order repair parts.
- Maintain customer service logs and internal records.
- Communicate daily with the service team for effective follow-up and issue resolution.
- Ensure tools and test equipment are properly calibrated.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Experience working with technical equipment, particularly in repairs and maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical analysis abilities.
- Full UK driving licence required
