Field Service Engineer - Plus One Recruitment : Job Details

Are you looking for a great field-based service technician position? Do you have both electrical and mechanical engineering experience? Looking to earn more income by working overtime?  If so, read on.  Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of clients across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit 3- 5 experienced Field Service Engineers to join their team. This role is responsible for the service, repair and support of a range of Industrial equipment.  Main Responsibilities:  

• Servicing, Maintaining and repairing Industrial equipment
• Installing and commissioning of new equipment
• Speaking directly to clients and handling complaints
• Fault finding, diagnosing and technical problem-solving of electromechanical equipment
• Field-based, travelling the UK and Ireland

 Skills & Experience: 

• Must have experience in Electrical and Mechanical engineering
• Must have previous experience as a Field based position
• Previous experience in Industrial or commercial workplace
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues
• A methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
• A flexible approach to hours worked, including some weekends
• Willingness to travel UK
• Clean full UK Driving License

  Additional Information: 

• Please note the Head office is based in Banbury but the role will cover the entire UK
• Around £15K a year in overtime
• Working hours Monday to Friday and one weekend a month, this is a 40-hour working week
• 25 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays
