Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of clients across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit 3-5 experienced Field Service Engineers to join their team. This role is responsible for the service, repair, and support of a range of industrial electrical equipment. Main Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical equipment
- Installing and commissioning new equipment
- Speaking directly to clients and handling complaints
- Fault finding, diagnosing, and technical problem-solving of electromechanical equipment
- Field-based, travelling across the UK and Ireland
Skills & Experience:
- Must have experience in electrical engineering (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
- Must have previous experience in a field-based position
- Previous experience in an industrial or commercial workplace
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues
- A methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
- A flexible approach to hours worked, including weekends as required
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Clean full UK Driving License
Additional Information:
- Please note the Head Office is based in Banbury, but the role covers the entire UK
- Overtime is typically in the region of 20-35% of salary
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, with frequent weekend work required, especially for installations
