Field Service Engineer - Pertemps Tamworth : Job Details

*Favourable day shifts**Up to 40k**Company car*About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join a team in Tamworth, UK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar field service role.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site repairs of machines
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics on the machines
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on-site.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar field service engineering role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
• Familiar with all, or some, of the following: Folding machines, lasers, punch presses, press brakes, guillotine, rolling, coil processors
• Proficient in fault finding, diagnostics, and repair.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full clean UK driving license and flexibility to travel.
• Own tool kit

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with industrial equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, and control systems.
