£45,000 - £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience) + Vehicle + Overtime

The Client recruiting for the Field Service Engineer

Your Role as a Field Service Engineer

• You'll be field based, joining an existing established team.

• Conducting 2 site visits per day, either for reactive breakdowns or PPM
• Equipment is found predominantly in the beauty sector
  • Used for hair and tattoo removal, acne treatment, and skin tightening, amongst others.
• Fault-finding on apparatus and using wiring diagrams
• Some laser systems are water cooled, so you'll be working safely with this
• Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, daytime hours with overtime available
  • Paid on call every 1 in 4 weekends.

Ideal Background for the Field Service Engineer Position

• Strong electronics service and repair background, ideally from a scientific, medical, or instrumentation sector, but other backgrounds will be considered.
• An engineering qualification of some sort, such as BTEC, HNC, NVQ.
• Attention to detail, able to work accurately and cleanly.
• Full UK drivers' licence.
• Happy to travel around Scotland, North and Midlands.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Package on Offer

• £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• ~£600pcm in overtime
• On-call bonus - £50 standby, £100 if called out.
• Company van (soon to be moved to car)
