Job Description:
Our client is seeking dedicated Field Service Engineers to join their team across various locations in London. This role involves responding to service and maintenance requests for a wide variety of clients, ranging from high street independents to national brands. Your work will be essential in maintaining the performance and quality of coffee equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Perform a wide range of repair and preventative maintenance tasks on coffee equipment, ensuring all machinery is left in excellent working condition.
- Set up equipment according to specifications to ensure consistent coffee quality and aim for a first-time fix.
- Coordinate with the central call centre, taking instructions and providing regular updates to keep customers informed.
- Follow on-site procedures, including introducing yourself to the site manager and adhering to all Health and Safety protocols.
- Complete all necessary online documentation, including job sheets and time sheets, before leaving each site.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working order, reporting any issues to your line manager.
- Manage and replenish spare parts inventory using a hand-held unit.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of coffee quality and coffee equipment.
- Robust problem-solving skills with an electrical/mechanical background.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer literate with a clean driving license.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work, location, and hours, including 1 in 4 weekends.
