Film Lecturer

• Pay: £30 to £35 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Film Lecturer to join our educational team in Carshalton. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for film and education, looking to influence the next generation of creatives. The successful candidate will hold QTS Status, QTLS, or equivalent, and will bring a blend of professional experience and academic insight to our students.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Employ a variety of teaching strategies including lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops to deliver course content effectively.
• Actively contribute to student supervision and provide pastoral care to ensure student welfare.
• Participate in the teaching and learning-related administration of programmes.
• Engage in the review of modules and programmes and participate in quality assurance mechanisms, including tracking student progression and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold QTS Status, QTLS, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a relevant professional role; teaching experience is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• Possession of a clear enhanced DBS on the update service.
