Rate: £37k to £41k

Sellick Partnership are looking to appoint to a Finance Accounting Lead for our Public Sector client in Sheffield.

Purpose of the Job - Finance Accounting Lead:

• To support the Accountancy Manager in proactively contributing towards the efficient and effective delivery of the organisations strategic objectives
• Responsible for the preparation of draft statutory accounts, fixed assets accounting and treasury management in compliance with relevant accounting and treasury management codes of practice

Key Responsibilities - Finance Accounting Lead:

• Develop and improve the financial management, control and reporting process
• Produce Annual Statement of Accounts
• Maintaining an internal financial control, policy and procedural framework
• To manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Lead on year-end procedures and processes
• Treasury Management

Person Specification- Finance Accounting Lead:

• Fully qualified is desirable
• Public Sector experience is ideal but not essential
• Statement of Accounts experience
