Finance Administrator - Adaptable Recruitment : Job Details

Finance Administrators (open to AAT Studiers / Office Administrators)Salary: £25,000 - £26,000Location: Fully office-based in RuncornAdaptable Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a thriving business based in Runcorn to recruit a talented and driven Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an Administrator or AAT studier who is eager to kickstart / develop their career in finance.

The Role:As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate transactional processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable: Processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Accounts Receivable: Generating invoices, allocating payments, and liaising with customers to resolve queries.
• Credit Control: Monitoring customer accounts, chasing overdue payments, and helping maintain positive cash flow.
• Reconciling bank accounts and assisting with ledger maintenance.
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

About You:

• Recent graduate in finance, accounting, or a related field, OR currently studying towards your AAT qualification.
• Some exposure to accounts/finance functions desirable
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator, able to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Eager to learn and develop in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
