Job Description :

A great opportunity has arisen for a keen and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our Finance team for a Maternity Cover which is expected to be 9 months, but could be longer. This role provides a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills and experience as well as your finance knowledge. The role is predominantly credit control focused, and you will become the go-to for all credit control on the ledger and be proactive in managing collections across our client base. There will also be additional work assisting the Financial Controller with Month End.

Location: Hybrid role, working 2 days per week minimum in the office (SW6 Fulham, London) Hours: Full-time or Part time ( minimum 3 days a week) applications consideredSalary: £32,500 or pro-rataReporting to: Financial ControllerBenefits: 25 days annual leave (or pro-rata) plus bank holiday leave and pension.Start date: Mid-March

Key responsibilities include: Credit control and dealing with account queriesDaily processing of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliationsPreparing and raising sales invoices Opening new sales and supplier accountsProcessing staff expenses and company credit card transactionsInputting some purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statementsAssisting the Financial Controller with month end reconciliations in preparation for the Management AccountsMaintain strong relationships with customers and suppliersMaintaining accounting records

Role Requirements:Sage 50 Experience ideal, but training can be providedAAT Level 3 Qualified minimumGood admin and numerical skills and a strong attention to detail Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel Be a team player with a flexible approach to work
