We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team within Vistry London Division, at our office in Brentwood, Essex. The London Division currently delivers 1 out of every 18 new homes in London and continues to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Vistry Group.  The Finance Analyst is an important role within the London Finance Team, supporting a number of areas that are critical to the continued success of the Division. This 12-month fixed-term role with potential to extend / make permanent, will allow the right candidate to accelerate their career in a dynamic and fast paced environment, giving them exposure to all aspects of regional and divisional operations in a FTSE100 Property Developer.

• More about the Finance Analyst role...
  • Ownership of the month end process for one of the Regions within the Vistry London Division. This will include the consolidation of Joint Ventures (JV’s) and Joint Collaborations (JC’s), including the preparation of key variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and closure of the regional ledgers each month.
  • Assist in the preparation of the regional monthly management accounts and ad-hoc management information requests for the Divisional Chair / Divisional and Regional Finance Directors / Regional Managing Director and Group Finance Team.
  • Review outputs from junior members of the team (month end / banking journals, JV/JC Funding requests, debtor analysis etc.). Coach and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Support the HY and FY external reporting requirements of the Region and the London Division, building good working relationships with Group Finance and the External Auditors.
  • Assist in the Half-Year and Full-Year audit taking ownership of any Joint Venture / Joint Collaboration queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Support the Divisional FC in maintaining a strong financial control environment across the Division and in providing technical accounting support and challenge to the Regions.
  • Support in the delivery of new initiatives to improve current systems and processes.
  • Ad-hoc project work.
