Job Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Finance Analyst to join our client based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a Fully Qualified Accountant who is looking to progress their career in the finance industry.  The successful individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial reporting and accounting operations. This includes offering informed guidance to companies or individual investors on important business investment decisions by analysing economic trends and current market conditions.    Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
  • Detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate client reports reconciliations
  • Present financial statements to management and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the maintenance of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Provide specialised input into Power BI reporting and Lobby development within IFRS to enable detailed reporting capabilities and ensure rapid response resolution for critical system control checks.
  • Develop and Lead implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting operations
  • Analyse key data for reporting monthly actuals and planning cycles at required business levels and locations, and validate the key assumptions made throughout the planning cycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial analysis and insights
    Qualifications:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA or Equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  On offer:
