Finance Analyst - Finance Assistant

BASED IN BELFAST OFFICE 3 DAYS A WEEK.

Our client, a global technology organisation with offices in Belfast, is looking to recruit the services of a Finance Analyst on a contract basis (12 months duration).

The post holder will be required deliver financial and commercial support to key stakeholders, driving optimal business decisions and delivering better financial and commercial performance.?

Along with reporting the monthly and full year outlook for revenue performance versus plan. This role will also be accountable for the management and control of the Field and Desk costs, plus other operating costs to drive efficiency and hit reduced unit costs YoY to deliver planned financial outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

• Commercial and decision support
• Communicating and stakeholder management :
• Liaising with the Financial Controller
• Accountable for monthly reporting, outlook and medium term planning Operating costs & revenue.?

Required skills and experience

• Proven experience in a similar finance role in a large organisation
• Advanced Excel/financial modelling ability (large data sets)
• Experience of positively influencing business performance
• Pragmatic team player, adept at holding others to account through a challenging and supportive style, whilst consistently delivering on their own commitments
• An ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects, working to tight deadlines
• Advisor and coach to others both within own team and elsewhere, formulates their operational guidelines or in-depth knowledge and advises on specialist area
• Experience of positively influencing business performance, by using data, commentary and analysis to inform decision making
