Finance and Operations Assistant - Luxury jewellery brand - Rec-Revolution Limited : Job Details

we are currently collaborating with one of the most renowned jewellery designers of our time on their quest to find a Finance and Operations Assistant. They are celebrated for their bold and glamorous fine jewellery, impeccable craftsmanship, innovative design and responsible sourcing.In this exciting role is a Finance and Operations Assistant you will report into the Finance Manager the role will encompass all aspects of the finance function as well as assisting in the production and operational side of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure the timely and accurate posting of invoices
• Monthly customer and vendor account reconciliations
• Responsibility for maintaining up to date customer and vendor accounts on SAP
• Follow up of invoice authorisation and approvals
• Ownership and reconciliation of all group cash and credit card payments to daily sales in SAP/Retail Pro
• Provision of information for capture of accruals, prepayments and receivables
• Payment and reconciliation of corporate credit cards and employee expense claims
• Processing CEO Expenses
• Full involvement in annual/half year stock take audit
• Raising Pos and creating of Skus / Article Descriptions / uploading images in SAP
• Assisting with Logistics processes

What you need to suceed:

• At least 1 - 2 years in a similar role
• Ideally worked in fashion or the luxury sector
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships internally and externally
• Previous experience of entering a high volume of invoices
• Good experience of SAP or a similar system
• Excellent understanding of Excel
• Good Accounts Payable and Accounts Receiveable skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting and cost allocation principles, accounting procedures and processes
