The key responsibilities for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) will include the day to day processing tasks for the sales and purchase ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations and assist with the preparation of management accounts and year end accounts.

Description

The key responsibilities for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) include:

  • Receive, log and record all purchase invoices
  • Maintain customer and supplier records in the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Set up weekly payment runs
  • Post all entries into banks and reconcile banks
  • Maintain the prepayments and accruals schedules and prepare nominal journals for prepayments and accruals.
  • Prepare certain balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with annual external audit and year end accounts preparation

Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) will have:

  • AAT Level 4 qualification
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong excel skills - Vlookups/Pivot tables
  • Good communication skills
