Job Description :

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant role based in the Tameside, Greater Manchester area

  • Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term
  • Hours: 35 per week – 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Full time office based

Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling payments, petty cash and balance sheet accounts
  • Preparing, posting and completing journals by deadlines
  • Completing purchase ledger items
  • Handling profit and loss expenses analysis
  • Preparing monthly sales breakdown report
  • Maintaining cashbooks and credit card receipts
  • Recording bank statement transactions
  • Producing payment sheets

The successful candidate:

  • Has strong Excel experience and knowledge
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Can work towards deadlines
  • Has experience in a similar role
