Job Description

A new very exciting Finance Assistant position working for a company based in Banbury. Paying between £32K - £35K + study support.

Role

As the Finance Assistant you will support the completion of essential financial close processes and daily operations in a reliable and timely manner.

You will support preparation of management accounts, group reporting, and rolling forecast.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take responsibility for booking of the associated journal entries, including expensing and balance sheet accruals entries where applicable
• Work with senior finance business partner to understand variances between actuals and budget/forecast
• Support Fixed Assets count, including inspection of assets and liaison with various departments

The ideal candidate:

• >1 year of practical experience and/or an accounting based qualification (degree, AAT, part ACA/ACCA, or similar)
• Excel skills
