We are seeking an organised and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team. This part-time role (4 days a week) will support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations, including processing transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end and year-end tasks.Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims
• Raise sales invoices and chase outstanding debts
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow reports
• Support VAT and tax compliance
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in audits

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous finance experience, ideally in accounts payable/receivable
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Excel (Xero experience is a plus)
• Attention to detail, organised, and a team player
• Experience in higher education or a PE-backed SME is advantageous
