Finance Assistant - Henderson Scott : Job Details

Henderson Scott (Search Recruitment Group) is pleased to be supporting a thriving and innovative manufacturing business who is seeking a talented Finance Assistant. Based just 30 minutes away from Nottingham city centre.

The Role

• Process supplier and sales invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Monitor daily transactions, manage payment runs, and assist with credit control reporting.
• Handle customer enquiries, process orders, and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Work closely with team members to support various finance and operational tasks.

The Person

Requirements as a Finance Lead

• Experience in finance, accounts, or customer order management.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar systems (Sage experience is a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A proactive approach to improving processes and contributing to business growth.
